pumpkin patch

i never thought life could be so much fun again. i could never really envision life with this much joy and happiness again. i had forgotten how your entire face can hurt from smiling so much. it's great to feel all that and more again. that's right...i'm having a blast with Naima.
we took Naima to a pumpkin patch this weekend. yea, i know, it might have been a bit too early for a 5mo old to be rolling around a butch of pumpkins but it was fun and a perfect picture moment!
she looked adorable in her little cat hat. i'm so into hats with her. i love dressing her in every style hat imaginable. and for this month i found an awesome halloween hat perfect for my baby!
there weren't a lot of people there so we had the entire patch of pumpkins to ourselves. we spent quite of the day there. abel and i were enjoying ourselves putting in all kinds of pictures poses. Naima, of course, was enjoying herself getting into all the mud and getting her feel of hay.
and, of course, i had to get the family picture at the pumpking patch.
and for a development update...Naima is holding her bottle all on her own now. well, only when she's really hungry and she feels like we're depriving her of food. she'll literally grab a hold of the bottle and keep it shoved in her mouth. it's pretty cool seeing her become so independent...bittersweet, is the more fitting word.
