all worth it!

geez, i'm such a big baby! yesterday was the day to take out my staples and i was dreading it. the night before i cried thinking it was going to be the worst pain ever. abel kept trying console me but i still felt terrible. an hour before my appointment i took 3 pain pills to make sure i would be nice and high during the pain. just before the doctor started i even asked for some morphine...he, of course, laughed at my request and began plucking them out. i wanted some kind of warning or a moment to take my breath before he started but then next think i knew he had already taken out 5 staples. i turned to abel holding the baby with a smile and he started to laugh at me....that didn't hurt! ok, maybe two or three stung a bit but the rest were out painlessly...it was great! both the doctor and abel laughed at me and made me feel like the biggest chicken ever. i don't care...i'm not a big fan of pain and i'm not afraid of showing it either!
the pain the student nurse made me go through putting in my IV, the 20yr experienced anestisiologist getting it wrong and poking me 3 times for the epidural and spinal and the pain of the c-section is ALL worth it for my precious prize in the end! i would do it again for my precious baby girl!
