we're home...all of us...
i cannot express how much we appreciate all of the prayers and well wishes from everyone. my husband and i are truly blessed to have such a wonderful support team on our side!
and now i have the great pleasure of announcing the safe and happy arrival of our baby girl, Naima Clarice...

i am so in love already! she arrived via c-section at 1:01pm on monday the 24th. i heard the doctors say she had the cord around her neck twice but the minute i heard her scream and cry loudly i too began to cry. i couldn't stop crying for joy! my baby was finally hear and alive and screaming! her daddy immediately started to take pictures of her from every angle. as soon as they finished checking her and cleaning her up they wrapped her up and placed her in my arms. i was so thankful for that. she was in my arms in less than 30min after she came out and i was loving it! the minute they placed her in my arms i forgot about all the pain i was feeling. it was amazing and very well worth it all!
