we have a date! OMG...WE HAVE A DATE!
Naima Clarice will be born either by an induced natural birth or a c-section on April 26, 2006...
i can hardly breath i'm anxious and terrified at the same time. i sat in her room for about an hour mezmorized at how it's all put together already. i'm not sure if i was more scared or excited at the fact that everything is in its place and ready for her to come use it all.
it's all set in motion now...the doctor has us on his schedule, the hospital has been notified, our bags are packed...and yet i feel as if every day drags by so damn slow. i know so much...of all that can go wrong even in these last few days so close to her due date and i'm terrified we'll be touched by another terrible event. every day i wake up i thank God for having her...every move she makes i thank God for feeling it...every hiccup she has i thank God for feeling it...every test she passes i thank God for the good results...and yet time still can't seem to pass fast enough.
in this case, patience is truly a virtue i lack. so for the next 2.5 weeks i will be trying to learn to wait patiently for April 26th...and for birth day to come and go as smooth and happy as a baby's birth day should...
