saw the perinatalogist doc today. everything is so quick and easy at his office. everything and everyone is so efficient and efficiently run that the appnt seems painles. i like that.
today was an important u/s measuring Naima's weight making sure that my sugars are being kept under control along with her weight. i was dreading hearing the news. terrified to hear she was already a 10lb baby!
good news....
so far my precious baby girl weighs 6lbs, 13oz (almost 7lbs)...she's in the 79% percentile...measuring in at 36wks, 1dy (just a couple of days ahead)....WOOHOO!!!!!
she's still head down, facing down (as she's supposed to be) and in two weeks she shouldn't be weighing more than 8lbs.....WOOHOO!!!!!
so, providing that she comes down from being "too high up" as Dr. Ego said she still is last week, we should be having a natural vaginal birth....WOOOHOOO!!!!!!
i left the appnt on cloud 9. i'm so happy right now and i'm actually looking at the next two weeks with optimism....still anxious and can't wait for the birth day to get here...but feeling optimistic that we WILL be bringing our baby girl home happy, healthy, alive, and with love...
