so what's Dr. Ego's expert reason as to why the painful Braxton-Hicks this past monday? i'm not drinking enough water. i got chewed out both by Dr. Ego AND abel today about my water intake. i need to be drinking 10 glasses of water a day!!!! i can hardly get down 2 glasses of water without wanting to puke! yes, even water tasts nasty to me right now. but according to Dr. Ego, it's either the 10 glasses of water or getting admitted to the hospital and getting hooked up to an IV. naturally i'll forgo the IV and start sucking down some water.
the doc's appointment today went very well...boreing actually and i welcome the boredom. blood pressure was perfect, only gained 3lbs since last time, and best of all Baby's heartbeat sounded beautiful. and after mentioning my painful pelvic pressure he decided to check my cervix...according to him those were the magic words to get a cervical exam. and we got another passing grade there too...cervix is tightly closed as it should be...YAY!
i also learned i've been counting my days wrong. i'm actually in week 27 right now. i don't know why or how i thought i was 28wks. wishful thinking i guess. but even still the time has come to start seeing the doc every 2wks now. and then soon we'll be seeing him every week. dear God, please let this time go by fast and easy and with the minimum amount of worrying.
next...another 4hr sugar test AND the very important u/s. both will be done this coming monday. dear God, please let us pass both exams with beautiful flying colors!
