another good appointment. even though i listen to frijolito's heartbeat every day and night, we got to hear it again and that sound never gets old!
i think i'm changing Doc's name from Dr. Ego to Dr. Drive-by. our appointments with him last at the max 20min! i know that's good for him...the patients he sees, the more money he gets...but for a patient with a multiple loss history, i need all my questions answered and fears dispelled!
i have my next OB appnt in a month at 23wks, 4dys. i freaked when he said a month. A MONTH?!? after seeming him every 2wks i can't go a month without seeing him! i told him after my husband and my dad he's a very important man in my life right now! he gave me a chuckle and hurried me out the door...no, really, Doc!
i have my next u/s at 28-30wks. i asked about the report of my last u/s and if anything was mentioned about CDH and my low-lying placenta. he simply said all was fine and continued to walk out the door. he said the next u/s would be much more definitive. damn, i wanted THIS last u/s to be final and definitive!
the only doctor's orders i was left with was to enjoy making it to the half-way mark and to have a happy holidays. i will try my hardest to do exactly that!
